Life of Lucy
Lucy Loglisci immigrated from Italy to Stamford Connecticut during the 1920's. In the 1950's after marriage and 4 children, she experienced an awakening in her life after a period of near poverty when she saw what the world was really like. She began to speak up for herself and ultimately took over her families destiny. She asserted herself into the workplace as a driven and unstoppable business force as few other women like her did at that time and led her family out of depression and into success.
She believed implicitly in everything she was doing and never lost site of the target in her crosshairs or her humble beginnings that defined who she was. She was incredibly confident in herself always leading by example. She could simplify things in a way that made you feel like you were superhuman and anything in life was possible, wasn't it? Celebrities, doctors, lawyers, judges and family all looked to her for her simple black and white perspective on life. Everyone came back to Lucy.
Her journey from humble Italian immigrant housewife to Pizza Queen, family matriarch and ring leader is told through her surviving children, family, friends & customers through gripping commentary and rare video footage.
